Job Description

Owning the social strategy for Square, the full-time Head of Social Media will manage content calendars, community engagement, and performance metrics while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance brand perception through organic and paid social initiatives. Key responsibilities Set and define the social strategy in alignment with Square's brand positioning and audience insights Build and manage the social content calendar, ensuring consistency with major brand campaigns and ongoing content programs Oversee community management and social listening, translating insights into actionable recommendations for partner teams Required qualifications 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience Proven ability to develop and execute social strategies with clear examples of successful organic channels Strong partnership skills, with experience working collaboratively across teams without direct reporting authority Deep understanding of audience engagement and relevant social trends Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating strategy clearly and confidently in a brand voice
