The biggest clarification was that this is not simply a strong Data Engineer opening. It is a true technical lead need. Client is looking for someone who combines deep Azure/Databricks capability with substantial experience leading across multiple teams, communicating with stakeholders, mentoring others, and anticipating problems.
10+ years of experience
At least 3-5+ years in cloud lead positions
Good communication is KEY since this is a lead role
Must be very strong technically
Mentor team members
Certified in data bricks, azure, etc. that's a big plus
Tech Stack - Databricks, Azure
AI is a key area - should be comfortable in AI / interest in learning new things but its ok if they don't have hands on working with AI - but some have personal projects, or understanding
Data bricks is the biggest focus
Working on a google project - so GCP is a plus
Completely on cloud for most projects
Working across multiple teams - should have exp leading larger groups / projects (does not want to see someone that has only led 2-3 people)
Healthcare is a plus not required
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare or payer industry experience.
Experience supporting Medicare, Medicaid, or healthcare analytics initiatives.
Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake, Hadoop, or similar technologies.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/reporting tools.
Exposure to machine learning and advanced analytics environments.
Experience working in highly regulated healthcare environments.
