Job Summary The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Transcriptionist to join our team. This position involves converting audio recordings into accurate written transcripts while working from the comfort of your home. The ideal candidate will have excellent listening skills, strong typing speed, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines. Key Responsibilities Accurately transcribe audio recordings into written documents. Proofread and edit transcripts for grammatical and contextual accuracy. Adhere to formatting guidelines and client-specific instructions. Meet assigned deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. Communicate with the team to clarify unclear audio files or instructions. Required Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in English, Communications, or a related field is a plus. Proficient in typing with a minimum speed of 60 words per minute. Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Strong listening skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with transcription software and tools (e.g., Express Scribe, Otter.ai). Ability to work independently and stay organized in a remote environment. Experience Previous experience in transcription or a related field is preferred but not required. Familiarity with legal, medical, or business transcription is a bonus. Working Hours Flexible schedule with options to work part-time or full-time. You will be assigned projects based on availability and turnaround times. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to interpret various accents and dialects in audio files. Strong time-management and multitasking skills.
